disappointment...

Sometimes I don’t understand why I held high hope from you compared to others. I am clear that you are not going to be the very important person in my life, but I just couldn’t stop hoping for better treatment from you. I know our ways of perceiving relationship are so much different, maybe that’s the main reason why sometimes it’s hard for me to take your responds to be match with my own set of rules.

Every time when disappointment came across from you, I told myself not to repeat the same mistake again in the future. I don’t know whether is that I am over care for this friendship, and it makes me looks like a fool when I actually repeated the same thing again and again.

I learned in school, that 1+1 should be equals to 2, but you’re showing me that 1+1 is actually equals to deep disappointment. Maybe I should turn myself to be mute once I enter your circle.

人家常常挂在嘴边，说什么吃不到的葡萄是酸的。我在想啊，竟然都品尝不到了又怎么知道是酸的呢？当然我也能够明白这句话想表达的意境。这么久以来，其实我不知道自己有没有曾经是拥有过的。一个小孩子的童话故事原本是很单纯的，一点都不复杂。但是经过时间的考验，许多故事里的角色慢慢地改变，有人上车也有人下车，到了今天它却演变成连大人也看不懂的情节了。我相信我们可能都没有离开过，只是身边的事物在改变，包括我们曾经对彼此的感觉。以往可能会觉得我们对彼此是重要的一块，可是今天我们却只有碰个面回个笑的普通关系。你的生活翻开了新的一页，理性告诉我说应该要给你鼓励，并且要好好给予祝福。谁知道偏偏感性又有相反的意见。我知道自己看到你的新生活会有矛盾，所以有时候还是觉得避开彼此的视线会好一些。如果我的冷酷反应让你不适，真的很抱歉。

我心胸狭窄，惨了。我应该要怎样让自己在理性和感性之间找到平衡，并且让自己变得大方点呢？想必还有一段路途才能让我真正领悟其中的技巧。

昨天今天

看看我昨天和今天的活动。

选了三样来分享。



昨天继续完电子游戏。又有新的纪录。恭喜我。

昨天晚上有三个臭皮匠来我房骚扰我。我就是不要告诉他们房间号码，偏偏他们去问祯祯。我只是没有想到他们这些大学生，竟然还可以幼稚到躲在厕所等我回来时吓我。不过因为我个人的警惕心超强的，所以他们的计划基本上只成功了40%。结果我还是让他们进了我没有收拾好的房间。他们应该很失望，因为我没有收拾好的还是很整齐，比他们的好很多。哈哈哈。

今天的午餐，我和Yaomi因为上部落而延迟到接近两点才吃。我们去了大学对面的茶餐室[双星]，点了炒一大粒粉，还有她推荐的932饮料。不要惊讶，932饮料中文叫宝桔，马来文叫Limao Kasturi Tradisional。没有什么特别，我跟Yaomi说就好像我去Subaidah点的Limao Ais一样，只是宝桔比较够味。

很无聊吧。给你们猜迷。

为了应付期末考，我们成立了study group。

今天一大早七点多就起身。很久都没有这样了，所以特别累，有点不习惯。前一晚还失眠呢。我在想可能是枕头不好睡的问题。有什么方法可以避免失眠的？不防跟我分享下。



大家很专心地讨论着。我也不输，因为我带了我的手提电脑在那里边讨论边上网。我发现我就是那么离不开这里，我已经爱上这个空间了。只希望这个爱好不会把我的学业拉低就好。呵呵。



Group study结束以后，我回房打game。玩到很兴奋差点不想吃午餐。有新的纪录。你看到吗？1177425呃，我好厉害噢。但是这个游戏和危险，睡觉前玩过的话，一定会失眠。我前几晚就是那样，脑海里都是游戏的画面。够力到~



晚上去了旧街场咖啡馆吃晚餐。

我跟Yaomi点了一样的蜜糖柠檬汁和出前一丁面。

皇后湾广场里的冷气很强，我们都很冷。

热热的柠檬汁和汤面最适合这个时候品尝。

隔壁有巧克力

回来宿舍已经是第三天了。我发觉太热闹的宿舍并不好玩。尤其是隔壁房的一群巧克力人，我看了就很讨厌。颜色看似很名贵的，但是用心品尝以后才知道是极度劣等的货色。我想不只是吃多了会热气，而是要我吃那么一小口都觉得要我的命，呸呸呸。

在大学念书的最年轻应该都有十九吧。我觉得这个年龄层以上的都应该会照顾自己和环境的卫生吧。都进了大学难不成还要叫家里的工人随身侍后咩。说到那群巧克力人嘛，平时很吵我都不说了，就是没有卫生观念，就是不会照顾自己住宿的卫生。真不明白为什么吃完糖面的渣可以那样随手倒在洗脸盆那里。也很不明白那些上完厕所不冲水的人，他们心里到底是在想什么。我多么怀念上个星期自己一个人在宿舍的时候，厕所都不会像现在酱，有一种难闻的气味。

不是肤色的歧视，只是他们的作为让人觉得难受。人家对他们不好的评语都是他们造成的。哎。提他们的前人觉得可悲。

林梧桐逝世

丹斯里林梧桐於週二（23日）中午11點20分逝世，享年90歲。

开始摆脱堕落

回家四天，堕落四天。

今天就要返回槟城，开始摆脱堕落的生活。我马上就要要为期末考冲刺了。这也表示我不能像前四天那样二十四小时上网了。哎，我和你们见面的时间少了。我有点不舍得吶。你们会想念我吗？doink... （我知道你们会的，不要伤害我。）

临离开家前拍了弟弟的照片。它很可爱吧。

这几天它都很累，白天都在睡觉，等到天黑了才会活跃起来。害大家以为它是不是生病了tim。它一定是知道我晚上夜睡想要陪我啦。它真的很疼我。呵呵。





前天发现了一个劲暴的部落，新加坡的LaoZhaBor也有搞部落，而且比年轻人的还精彩呢。你看了她的影片一定笑暴。得空没事做就去走走吧！还有还有，要一起支持星光灿烂献爱心。

短暂の堕落?

两个星期没有回家，发现我家的Benji小弟弟长大了很多，也怪懒了很多。以前都没有很厉害吵，现在就过动儿似的吵不停。它想出来，我依它地开了门，没想到它竟然不进厕所小便，还给我特别跑到厨房去解决，给我在它屁屁打了三下。活该的家伙。不讲它顽皮的性格，其实它是很可爱的。它最好不要再坏下去。没有相机，不然可以拍它可爱的样子放上来。下次好了。

在部落放了DirectChat有几天了。绝望就是每次我上网，即使有人光临我的部落也不会找我聊天。昨天我忍不住发了这么一句：

“朋友, 我放了Direct Chat, 为什么总是没有人愿意用那个跟我谈...”

不到三十秒就有人找我聊天了。有用啵。刚开始只有一个，不久就慢慢有人光临我的部落找我聊，越来越多，越聊越爽。不知不觉我们聊到了早上的五点多。结果我发现我这个已经老化的身体快撑不住了，整个背很酸痛，我整个身体要断掉了。不行不行，老人家本来就不应该泡网泡到那么夜都不睡，真的是很不自爱啊。下次不可以了。

没想到我上床准备睡觉时正是妈妈刚好起身。讨厌的Benji也跟着起身，又在那里耍兴奋汪汪汪。我说小弟弟啊，大哥才想睡觉你就来吵吵闹闹，我很痛苦的嘞。睡不到睡不到。我索性把它直接关起来，我们被两道门隔着，我的耳朵才能够宁静下来。六点多才入眠，结果我早上十点多就自然醒了。在家总是不能睡迟点，那时候就很想念我的宿舍了，可以把厚厚的窗帘拉上，阻止了80%的阳光进入。爽到~

不过为了收集更多的精力，我还是赖在床上跟周公续约。我睡到一点正才醒呢。还蛮满意的。不错。

回家就是堕落，今天就像预料中的没有碰到从槟城载回来的书。I am addicted!!! 睡醒的第一个动作就是往电脑去，看看我的部落有没有新的留言，看看我的信箱内有没有新的电子信件。今天还看了《我猜》和《公主小妹》第四集。我的星期五吃蛋了。

He is Freedom Rider

Lately I come across a blog named Freedom Rider. The first sight on the title, I was like unbelievable, and “What? Why he named his blog Free Rider?” Free rider was what I studied before in the syllabus, it refers to those people who did not perform in a team but still enjoying whatever outcomes from it. Ish… whatever it is, at that moment, I just think that this author is poor in choosing a name for his blog. And I just continue looking at the About Me section to further understand who this freak person is. Then only I realized that I am the one in blurred. It’s actually Freedom instead of just the word Free. My gosh, feel so sorry about that Darren, do forgive me…

Darren, a 20 years old budak kecik from Cameron Highlands. As what I peek from his profile, he was born in Penang and so he can speak “Hi Kiean” (probably Hokkien I think). Although he is still young, but for me he is quite ambitious, which looking and working to make big money from his part time job ~ Blogging. I can see lots of advertising on his blog, and so I have decided whenever I visit his blog, I would just help him by clicking on those ad banners which in turn generate income to him. I am pretty kind right? (please help me to generate income too…)

Darren’s writings are very broad with which covered from his personal story, experiences, hobbies, sports and computing further to his big dream on how to make money online. What I would like to say is that, besides letting me know him better as a net world friend, I gained some extra knowledge. I see new things in this little space. He learned, he published, he shared, and his readers gained. I think that should be the essential for blogging. I love that illustration on How To Become A Famous Blogger.

One last thing, I definitely look forward to become the winner for Freedom Rider Contest (if I am not the chosen one, I will not be able to clean my teeth for my future traveling, be kind to me Ok? haha…). Taiping Lake Garden

Today is a special day where thousands of voices around the world talk about one issue, its all about environment. Though I am not good in discussing environment care, but I would like to take a very small part in it, just wanna feel a little great where everyone is doing the same thing in one day. Not very much related to environment care, but this is to illustrate how our greeny natural world contributes to us. Its peaceful, it’s the Taiping Lake Garden.

Taiping Lake Garden was developed since 1880, as what I read from other related websites. This lake garden is said to be the oldest park in the country, and is one of the first for Taiping Town. I am so proud to be born in Taiping. Haha. For me, Taiping Lake Garden is a lost and found. Because it’s once a tin mine and was then converted into lush green garden like what we can enjoy now. So great! Token of appreciation to people involved in develop of the Taiping Lake Garden.

Taiping Lake Garden, at the foot of Maxwell Hill...

Taiping Lake Garden is not far from the town, maybe about 5 to 10 minutes. It’s also close to the foot of Maxwell Hill (famous hill in Taiping).This scenic garden is filled up with flowers, trees (especially rain tree), and shrubs which in turn form a warm habitat for animals. You can see birds flying around, fishes enjoying their life in the lake, and many more.

Jogging and Pak Tor are both welcome on this little path...

Besides, the first zoo in the country is also located in this beautiful garden. It’s another attraction from local and foreign visitors where 130 species of animal totaling around 1300 individual stay here. After wandering to their website then I know, they actually give away 50% for every entrance in the whole month of March. So, whoever wanted to visit the zoo Taiping might have to plan for it in March. The Night Safari should be great too, but some of them (animal) might have gone to bed during night time.

And as a conclusion of this, I would say that Taiping is a town of everlasting peace with a close to nature Lake Garden. If you have not experience this, you should consider a short break from the full of petrol fumes, rush life and stressful city, and have a visit to Taiping Lake Garden. I personally guaranteed that whoever visited the garden will fall in love with it. Very TRUE.

Kawan, did you see what I see? Haha. KFC branches located at sungai dua Penang and Taiping were in the list, they are going to operate 24 hours!!!

I dont know what people around there look at this news, but for me, its real great. When supper time, I got an extra choice to go for, not everytime Subaidah; Khaleel; Perkaka; or McD. Its more worst in Taiping where I only can choose among burger and char kuey tiao at the road side; mamak stall; or Taihu and siang-malam. Thanks to anyone involved for developing Taiping's night life...

Cant wait for the launching in Taiping so that I can have my first try there...

Internship Tips

Many years ago, my previous company did not really have an internship programme. So when we heard that some interns were coming to join us, we didn't know what to do with them. We were handling highly confidential customer data, so we couldn't risk exposing the data to the interns. And because we couldn't devise an effective internship programme, we had to improvise as we went along. Also, many of the interns did not know what to expect from their attachment; so they did not know what to ask. As a result, the interns did not get the best from their two-month stay with us.

It's different now. There are more companies that offer rewarding internship programmes to college students. And they know what to offer the interns under their charge. That's a real learning experience for the lucky interns.

However, just because you have gained an internship with such a company, it doesn't mean that you'll be spoonfed during the whole of your attachment there. No, if you want to have a positive experience, be prepared to do some groundwork of your own.

Here are some tips to get you ready as an intern.

1.At the start of the programme, agree in writing with the company on your job responsibilities. Then you'll know for sure what's expected from you and what you can expect from the company.

2.In order to keep to the right track, ask for a periodical evaluation of your work. Sit down with your supervisor to discuss whether you are meeting your goals and their goals, get feedback on your performance and clarify your assignments and tasks.

3.Be responsible and treat your internship like a real job, one that is important to you. If you have a deadline to complete your task, keep to it. Plan to work hard and do more than expected of you. Take the initiative and volunteer for additional assignments. It's important to open your mouth and ask.

4.Adapt to the company's corporate culture and fit in. For example, the official starting time may be 9am but when do most of the staff arrive and begin working? Open your eyes are observe. When in doubt, open your mouth as well.

5.Every job will require you to interact with the people around you. Learn to listen well to understand instructions or requests. When talking, be sensitive and avoid public confrontations. Nobody likes to be embarrassed or lose face in public. Don't try to be a know-it-all. Be receptive to other people's ideas and you'll be surprised with how much you can learn. Before you submit any written work, check it for content, spelling and grammar.

6.Develop your working relationships with your co-workers. Network, network, network with the others in your work environment. Your professional growth depends on it. It never hurts to be friendly.

7.At the end of your stay, ask for a good recommendation from your supervisor. And always stay in touch. If you have networked well and created a good impression in their eyes, it will help you with your job search after graduation.

惊喜成功

我们家的小妹妹说她二十一岁生日要惊喜，所以聪明的我和同学就很用心地为她安排了。要安排个惊喜给她并没有想象中的简单。但是要骗她却是很容易的，因为她...嘿嘿不多讨论。最大的问题出在她生日当天落在study week，很多朋友都各自回家去了，而她也不懂当时会身在何处。再来，她竟然在生日当天吃素，所以我们要安排一个素食生日派对给她？不行不行。结果我们还是在大会同意下决定了提早庆生，给她早到的惊喜。

二十一岁，她觉得是人生当中最特别的。所以可爱的我们想到了给她二十一份礼物。哈哈。我们以有限的budget逛了皇后湾广场的每个小店。最主要是调查商品的价格。一切算的完美，我们有了决定。我们的购物列表当中有周董不能说的秘密；她爱用的沐浴乳；很粉红的牙刷一支；她偶像代言的饮料；她每个月都会用到的卫生棉；她爱吃的糖果；我们要用到的纸杯；我们要喝的饮料；我们要吃的零食饼干等等。超完美。购物完毕我竟然还剩下三分钱，我是神啊。

一切按照计划进行，看得出大家演得怪怪的，但是还好没有被看穿，我想就是因为她...好啦不多讨论。反正我们就很平常地吃晚餐，去逛街然后吹海风。蛋糕就在她没有警惕的情况下从她后方出现。哇。惊喜。她真的很惊喜。因为完全没有想过我们会那么早跟她庆祝。也因为这样，她没有时间打扮得漂漂亮亮地拍照，当晚就显得有点失落。所以，再次验证了，女生们真的很在乎自己的二十一岁生日。









惊喜没有停太久，在她还没有来得及把蛋糕吃完，其余的礼物就陆续登场了。她不会想到。她更没有想到我们会经济到用报纸代替礼物纸，搞得我们家小妹妹的手都黑黑的。哎。我又想说，她真的觉得很惊喜。是很那种。太没有挑战性了，每次安排的惊喜都成功。太有满足感了啦。难怪她过后会叫我executive event planner。谢谢噢。

大肚腩周六

Elfa同学在msn留了信息给我，没有想到她竟然邀请我当她们某个活动的主持人。我的妈啊。Elfa同学有没有听清楚我的鸭子声啊？又或者她们正想要找一个能够权势小鸭子的主持人？她一定不懂我最没有信心的就是我的声音。我从小就因为这把声音给朋友和老师拿来当笑话，所以都很不快乐。哎，不应该再提了，那只会让我丢掉自己原本的自信心。Anyway，谢谢她的邀约。

晚上去了婷婷的生日派对，我安排给她的惊喜成功！派对来了很多大人物，就是她父母的朋友，所以我简直就是容入不了他们的话题的。另外就是她自己的一班好姐妹，二十一岁就有孩子的小妹妹们，我也跟她们谈不来。无聊吧。还好我跟一位小学同学一同出席，两人还可以选个角落自己聊天。但是那个角落蚊子还蛮多的。我也不忘了使出我的独家安娣杀手，跟婷婷的婆婆和姑姑聊几句。Hmm…觉得自己的表现还不错呢。

看着她踏如二十一岁，我也替她开心。那种从心出发的笑容，比什么都来得漂亮。她妈妈辛辛苦苦地为她准备生日会，应该也都很值得，因为看到女儿笑得开心就很足够了嘛。只是我偶尔还会有疑问，很多人把二十一岁生日看得很重要，尤其是女生们，真的有那么重要咩？我自己已经对庆祝生日有点麻醉了。生日嘛就不过是跟朋友出去庆祝，吹蜡烛吃蛋糕或者收礼物，仿佛只是一个指定的动作而已。有没有都一样的。反正也有人说，我们的生日其实就是母难日，庆祝生日也就意味着我们庆祝母亲的痛苦。哎。不管有什么说法，自己本身就没有那么看重生日怎么过啦。

谢谢婷婷的邀约，希望我安排的惊喜真的让她很惊喜，很高兴。另外，婷妈准备的事物一流，让我撑着肚皮，现在还有点辛苦咧。可是美食当前，我怎么控制得了自己的小嘴呢。我有大肚腩！

我不要当Underdog

刚刚看完一齣改编自卡通的电影Underdog。一只平凡的小狗狗在化学元素激发后，成为了一只超能的狗英雄。它拯救人类社会，它拯救生命，它打败作恶多端的坏人。最让主人感动的就是，它挽回主人和父亲的感情。虽然故事情节都很平淡没有什么高潮迭起，但是它有带给观众一些隐藏的教导讯息。到了比较感性的点我还是会湿了眼，是太久没有被感动了吗？就很普通的感性也会感触。



我们都不是Underdog字眼上的意思，但是我们要学习电影中Underdog的精神。勇敢面对身边的变化，不管是好是坏，就是不可以让自己陷入恶劣的处境。跌到了要勇敢站起来。

Excitepointed

Two phone calls shocked me within these 12 hours. Excitepointed.

The first one is to be considered positive. I received a phone call from Andy, calling from British American Tobacco. I used to hear about this name from a course mate, that it is a well known company. I get shocked when Andy was telling me that his company got my info from this Jobmarket, some portal like JobStreet, and is interested to consider me as interns of BAT. I wonder when did I gave any info to this Jobmarket… and is that a fraud…? He ends the phone after short conversation and a little understanding of my internship period I think. Erm… not really bother much, because I never thought of this to happen on me. If this big big company want to hired me and I am qualified then would be my honor, but if it is a fraud of something else, I didn’t lost anything too. So, forget it. But it’s a real shock for me.

At the night time while I was on the internet surfing around, she gets me and it’s a total unexpected and negative impact on my mood and my enthusiasm towards something. Someone put me in the wrong, which I think that’s not fair to me. My soul was like floating in the air, being thrown in the maze, lost of direction. The “someone” gave me quite good impression before this, but the comment from this person really made me feel real disappointed. I guess its all about money matter like what she told me. Haih… no wonder Cantonese got one golden phrase – “gong qin siong gam cheng”. I am willing to give away everything if that make the “someone” feels better. Anyhow, I have to stay back at my initial position, else she will say that I am childish thinking.

Things don’t come as what we desired for. So I rather set lower expectation on others than on myself, so that I won’t feel that hurt when results or outcomes bias from what I thought it would be.

By the way, "Excitepointed" = Exciting + Disappointed. Lol...

小兴奋小骄傲

星期六晚上去了太平新开张的Tesco。我有点小兴奋和小骄傲。为什么？因为太平雨城那么多年以来，这是第一间那么大观摩和有型的购物中心。我觉得它的到来同时也引进了很多比较有名气的公司进军太平市场，应该是件好事。通常我们去到外坡的购物广场，都很爱打包secret recipe的芝士蛋糕，现在呢，太平也终于有一间啦。再来，Lazo Diamond Poh Kong King’s Living Carbin Leomag 这些在槟城能够看到的店铺都在太平有分行了。其实也不是什么大件事，可是就能够让我有小兴奋。至少以后回到太平，或者有朋友拜访我时，也不用告诉他们说太平只有The Store罢了。话说回来，霸级市场进军太平了，那么所谓的超级市场应该往哪里摆呢？很多人都不看好它们的发展。危机来咯。以后太平不再由The Store给monopoly了。我们的购物选择也增加了。

听说这个月内，另外一间霸级市场Giant也要开幕了。哇靠。兴奋加兴奋。爽了再爽。外坡的朋友，太平发展着了，你看到了吗？哈哈。以后不要只会炫耀你们的家乡噢。还有刚刚说的小骄傲都还没有解释。就是啊，有朋友告诉我说，其实太平这间Tesco是全马最大型的。哇。（听说）报纸都这么登的。不过我还没有证实，所以还不能炫耀。但是身为太平的一份子，我听到了还是会自然地有小骄傲啦。毕竟太平已经有了很多全马第一的。棒。

最新消息，太平即将建设缆车系统，主要是让游客直接从太平湖一带上到太平山顶。听着噢，这项任务一旦完工，它就是全马最长的缆车系统了。棒。

*虽然是最长的，但是好像没有这个必要。谁建议的啊？
